We believe stories are spells—slow-brewed, strange, and sparkling with something sacred.
We’re not entirely sure how this place came to be. One day, a turtle wandered in with a potion bottle on its back, and we followed it. (As one does.)
Together with my cofounder—the brilliant, ever-whimsical Rachel Tribble—we’ve built a space for the stories that shimmer just a little differently. The ones that don’t shout. The ones that linger.
What is Turtles of Alchemy?
It’s a cauldron of curiosities.
A nest for quiet brilliance.
A soft-shelled rebellion against the ordinary.
Each week, we’ll feature short story highlights—tales submitted, loved, and can’t stop thinking about. They might be magical, aching, unsettling, or oddly hilarious. They might feel like a dream.
We’ll also be sharing our own creations from time to time—woven from stardust, second thoughts, and slightly feral notebooks.
